Design for multiple crops
The same image may appear as a square, wide card, or small thumbnail depending on the platform and device.
Keep the most important subject near the center and avoid putting essential text near the edge.
Limit text inside images
Small preview cards can make text hard to read. Use the post title, caption, or page metadata for detailed wording.
When text is necessary, use strong contrast and fewer words so it remains readable at thumbnail size.
Check privacy before posting
Screenshots can reveal usernames, file paths, browser tabs, location data, or customer information.
Blur or remove private details before publishing and consider stripping metadata from public images.
